CHCRC

Our Vision

To assist and inspire individuals, families and businesses to help build a more just, sustainable and compassionate community on Capitol Hill.

Our Mission

To enhance the lives of all people through life sustaining support and programs.

The CHCRC exists to serve individuals and families in need within Seattle’s Capitol Hill and surrounding areas with commitment to creating a safe, welcoming and hospitable environment that respects each individual’s inherent worth and dignity.

What We Do

The CHCRC collaborates with the Mental Health Chaplaincy and The Sisters Project at the Community Lunch Program at Capitol Hill’s Central Lutheran Church to help provide basic information, referral and social work services.

Volunteer companions from local churches and the community provide basic information and referral services to guests of the Community Lunch in collaboration with The Sisters Project.  The Sisters Project provides “Next Step” social work services to assist guests with situations that require additional referral expertise and support in accessing resources.  Additionally, a designated Community Social Worker provides outreach, referral and follow-up for identified individual support needs.

Our network of services extends throughout King County as collaboration is an important part of our effort to improve lives.
